My bangs also tend to curl up like that on the side when they get long. I started chopping at my hair on Saturday, then decided that was a bad idea, so I've made an appointment to get it cut this week. I'm tempted to cut it quite short, but we'll see...
Do it! My bangs used to do the same. Man, I can't even remember what long(er) hair felt like.

thanks for the encouragement! i just need to figure out what kind of cut to get...although it's quite long right now, so anything shorter than shoulder-length will be a big change!

The phrase 'Wilma Flintsone bun' is my favourite fashion description this year. And I love the illustration. Did you go for the chop?
ReplyDeleteI chickened out when my hairdresser told me it would require too much maintenance, so it's now just above my shoulders. She chopped off about 5 inches though, so it is quite a change. I'll see how I like this length for a while - then maybe I'll go for shorter!
ReplyDeleteI often feel quite reckless when I go to the hairdresser. But when I actually sit in that chair, I usually feel a little uncomfortable with the idea and I ask for "the regular". Love your hair illustration :)
